Matcha Overnight Oat with Kismis



I never thought I would like overnight oat yang teksturnya lembek, mirip bubur.

I don’t like bubur – terutama bubur putih dan yes, termasuk bubur ayam. I don’t care with tim aduk atau tidak diaduk since I don’ eat bubur. Bubur mengingatkan masa-masa ketika saya sakit gejala tipes pas masih SD. I ate bubur all day, every day selama 1 bulan. Ternyata itu menimbulkan semacam trauma makan bubur gitu. But overnight oat is different according to my taste and my condition



Saya jadi rutin makan overnight oat sejak masa pandemic yang memaksa kita semua back to the kitchen dan work from home. Overnight oats ini awalnya adalah alternative makan siang yang quick, easy, sehat dan ngenyangin. Resep overnight oats ini juga gampang divariasi sesuai dengan ingredients yang ada di kulkas. But then I become addicted dengan rutinitas makan siang yang sama, overnight oat. Dengan makan siang yang sama, saya hemat waktu untuk decide what to eat, saya bisa focus kerja. For me, eating the same everyday means simplifying my life



But, is it healthy to eat the same thing every day? Saya mulai menelusuri artikel kesehatan yang relevan dengan topik ini – surprisingly many are doing the same out there!! Eating the same thing every day membantu tracking calorie, bikin kita makan lebih sehat, dan bisa membantu menurunkan berat badan. Tapi makan yang sama tiap hari bisa juga membosankan, bisa bikin kekurangan nutrisi tertentu.


The key is in the variation of topping – ya sama ajalah kalau makan nasi kan lauk dan sayuran beda-beda. Nah overnight oats ini juga bisa dibikin variasi berbeda, pakai buah dan atau sayur yang berbeda. This time I share matcha overnight oat – this one is vegan, ga pakai susu tapi coconut water.



Equipment

  • 1 glass jar with lid – I reuse sambal jar

  • Measurement spoon alias sendok ukur



Ingredients

  • ½ jar rolled oat

  • 1 Scoop Matcha protein powder - I use Nutrilite Hi-Protein Green Tea Powder

  • 1/3 jar water -

  • 2 tbsp Honey – I use Madu Uray

  • Dried fruits – I use kismis hitam



How to Make

  1. Masukkan oat dan matcha protein powder ke dalam jar. Mixed them well

  2. Masukkan honey

  3. Masukkan air

  4. Aduk lagi, gunakan sendok plastic/wooden spoon

  5. Tutup jar, simpan dalam kulkas semalaman

  6. Next morning: your overnite oat is ready to eat. Jika terlalu thick, tambahkan air atau susu atau coconut water. Jika terlalu encer, tambahkan protein powder.

  7. Taburkan dried fruits di atasnya
