How to Make Natural Hand-Sanitizer: 3 Simple Ingredients

While washing hands with water and soap is a better option than using hand sanitizer, tetap saja orang berburu hand sanitizer meskipun harga naik berlipat, since it is handy to carry everywhere.

When you can’t find hand sanitizer because they are out of stock everywhere or if you want to avoid super expensive hand sanitizer, consider to make your very own natural hand sanitizer dengan hanya 3 bahan yang gampang didapat dan gampang bikinnya

DIY Hand Sanitizer - with alcohol

Ingredients

• 1 tbsp Vera gel

• 2 tbsp Alcohol (Rubbing alcohol atau ethanol) – I use 99% Isopropyl Alcohol

• ¼ tbsp Vitamin E (optional)

• ¼ tbsp Witch hazel (optional)

• Essential oils – I use a mix of:

• 10 drops Peppermint EO

• 10 drops Thyme EO

• 10 drops Sweet Orange EO

Equipment

• 1 glass stirrer

• 1 glass beaker

• 1 set sendok ukur

• Whisk

• Spray bottle – atau flip top cap bottle

• Mini spatula

How to Make

1. Masukkan Vera gel dan alcohol ke dalam beaker

2. Aduk dengan whisk hingga tercampur rata – warnanya akan menjadi putih susu

3. Masukkan Vitamin E, Witch Hazel dan essential oils

4. Aduk rata lagi

5. Pindahkan ke dalam botol

How to Use:

• Shake well before use

• Jangan digunakan juka ada luka di tangan

Notes:

Again, I have to say that I love Elemence Vera gel karena produk ini tidak mengandung alkohol, tidak mengandung fragrance , tidak lengket, adem dan plus point lainnya adalah mengandung ekstrak berbagai tumbuhan sebagai zat aktif antioksidan. Feel free to substitute Vera gel with aloe vera gel or liquid aloe vera if you want to make hand sanitizer spray

Produk ini tidak cocok digunakan untuk anak-anak. For kid safe hand sanitizer, substitute the essential oils to lavender, clary sage, marjoram, frankincense or turmeric oil. Please also adjust the dosage use in the recipe – follow this Tisserand guideline

Please note: This DIY recipe isn’t being tested in a third-party lab for its effectiveness against germs, viruses or bacteria. However, this formula is following the recommendation of including 60% alcohol to make it effective.
