Homemade Natural Dusting Powder

Diperbarui: Apr 25

Making DIY Dusting Powder

I love dusting powder, aka body powder – dusting powder adalah cara instant mengatasi sweaty and sticky body akibat kepanasan, and it’s multipurpose karena bisa dipakai di berbagai area tubuh, termasuk telapak kaki, atau di rambut yang lepek karena tidak sempat keramas.

I usually bought a bottle of dusting powder dengan bahan utama corn starch, yang adalah Australian brand. While I cant switch to a conventional dusting/body/baby powder yang bahan utamanya adalah talc (karena talc membuat pernafasan saya sesak), I don’t have any option than to make it myself. It turns out very easy to make, inexpensive and effective!

Equipment

  • 1 bowl

  • 1 stirerr

  • 1 set measurement spoon

  • 5-8 drops of your favorite essential oil

How to Make

  6. Your body powder is ready to use

Notes

Bentonite clay and French green clay membuat dusting powder ini berwarna slightly green. You can always substitute it with kaolin clay yang berwarna putih

Feel free to substitute corn starch with tepung gasol aka arrowroot powder

You can always add dried herbs or tea or flower and use the corresponding essential oils

If you use dried herbs/tea/flowers, you might consider to grind all of the ingredients using a specific grinder (for DIY only)
