Food supplements dan vitamin sudah jadi bagian gaya hidup kita. At least kita mengkonsumsi satu atau dua jenis vitamin atau supplement. Meskipun disebutkan bahwa kita bisa mencukupi kebutuhan gizi, mineral dan vitamin dari makanan sehari-hari, tapi tetap aja kayaknya kurang afdol kalau tidak minum extra vitamin dan food supplement – apalagi dengan kenyataan bahwa kita mungkin tidak makan yang cukup sehat dengan gizi dan vitamin yang cukup.

Beberapa produk suplemen dijual dengan janji penyembuhan. Food supplements and vitamins are not meant to cure sickness and diseases. Dan banyak food supplements and vitamins that are being sold as miracle pills, salep ajaib atau obat dewa – obat segala penyakit dan obat instant. Please be careful, food supplements dengan klaim berlebihan sebaiknya kita cek dan re-check. Do your research, choose wisely.

I consume liquid chlorophyll – yang biasanya dijual sebagai obat dewa, penyembuh segala macam penyakit. I did check the company website, label botolnya, to see whether that over claims came from the brand itself or from the salesman. I did my research, checked research studies on chlorophyll and I believe my own judgment, so I consume liquid chlorophyll to improve my digestion system


· Has this product tested by an independent lab?

Point ke 3 in diperlukan jika kita hendak membeli food supplements from overseas (especially from the USA, di mana perusahaan food supplements dan vitamins yang dipasarkan tidak memerlukan approval FDA sehingga hasil cek dari independent lab diperlukan untuk mengklarifikasi ingredient. dan kesesuaian isi dengan yang tertera di label). Untuk mencari informasi apakah produk food supplement tertentu dicek di lab independent memang agak merepotkan biasanya informasi ini tidak tercantum di kemasan, tapi biasanya dicantumkan di website perusahaan tersebut. At least ada 2 lembaga verifikasi untuk food supplements dan vitamins dari USA, yaitu USP (The United States Pharmacopeial Convention) dan NSF International .
